“That Hope May Grow in Tribulation:” Our Lenten Journey of Renewal.

Fr. Michael Lewis

Fr. Michael L. Lewis is a priest of the Diocese of El Paso and the administrator of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church & School in El Paso, Texas. He serves as an episcopal master of ceremonies, a member of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, an instructor in the diocese's lay formation institute, and as a chaplain to three hospitals. Prior to his ordination as a priest, he worked as a writer and editor at newspapers in Texas and Florida, and as a civilian journalist for the U.S. Army. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in philosophy and theology from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, and Master's in Divinity (M.Div.) and Licentiate in Sacred Theology (S.T.L.) degrees from the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. He also serves as the Region 10 (Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas) representative on the board of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions, and as the Vice-President of the Southwest Liturgical Conference board of directors.
