THE CATHEDRAL BASILICA OF SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI
SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO

PARISH MISSION STATEMENT

St. Francis Cathedral Basilica is a Eucharistically centered faith community whose life is formed by our baptismal commitment to Christ, nourished by Scripture, Church teachings and the Sacraments, supported by membership in the worldwide Roman Catholic communion of believers, and is put into practice by our service and involvement in the world around us. It is a community with a long and rich history, where all are welcome, trust is present, risks for the Kingdom of God are taken, and where the gifts of everyone are called forth. Under the protection of La Conquistadora, Our Lady of Peace, and the patronage of St. Francis of Assisi,we strive to be instruments of peace and all that God calls us to be.
